I'M BACK FROM MY BKK TRIP!

It was a really fruitful trip I have to say. The place, culture, food, shopping and the company I had on my trip there. I am already missing that place, running in the rain with my friends, sitting tuk tuk and having all the nonsensical conversations :)

We took an early afternoon flight to BKK on Thursday and it has been such a long time i last sat a plane! Really love the feeling when the plane takes off, it feels good to be in the sky, like I had gained control of the entire sky I was in then. We reached BKK at around 3pm and then we checked in at Baiyoke Sky Hotel. It is a really nice hotel, with 24/7 FamilyMart, restaurants and not forgetting it being Thailand's tallest building, with it standing tall at 88 storeys. We stayed on the 29th floor and got a free upgrade because the one we had reserve initially was out of inventory. We got into Superior Suite and basically it has a separate living room followed by the bedrooms and the toilet. On the first day, we intended to walk to MBK mall, but it was raining heavily (rainy season in bkk then) and it was really dramatic, having to run through the railway tracks of the street HAHAHA. Eventually we settled for tuktuk and it was really an experience sitting tuktuk while it was raining! Had dinner at a Thai steamboat restaurant and yummm the char siew and duck meat was really succulent and tender. It was quite cheap, cost around 150 baht per pax which is approximately 6 SGD. After that had auntie anne's pretzel and walked the Pratanum night market right outside our hotel while in the rain. Hehe. SkyBar at the hotel's 77th floor wasn't really that fabulous! Went to the Revolving Point at the 80th floor and seriously, Bangkok does have a nice night view. The city night lights and all... Really awesome. And the guys challenged each other to be topless in the cold and rainy weather on the revolving point! Headed back to the room and we started drinking the Jack Daniel's we bought for Jingxiang's advanced birthday! Hahaha he was really down that nightttttt. Played all sorts of drinking games and then we retired for the night at about 3am.

On the second day, Friday, we got awaken by the boys. Because the girls get to sleep in while the guys had to wake up to fetch Jiaying and Jamie from the airport so hence they felt unfair, which explains why they kept disturbing us hahaha! Had the hotel buffet breakfast and they had a really good variety! It was comparable to an international buffet. I'm totally digging the waffle they had there! Later on we took a cab down to the Platinium Mall. HEHEHE THAT'S A SHOPPING PARADISE! Its Bangkok's best wholesale mall for your infor! Which means we could get lots of blog shop clothes there hahaha. And yeah we all did bought alot of stuffs! Had lunch at the Fuji restaurant there and it was realllllllly reasonable. Then we continued shopping before heading back to the hotel to put our shopping loots down HAHAHA. Cabbed down to Khao San Night Market again and tried the food at the roadside stall! PHAT THAI WAS REALLY GOOD. YUMMM. Love it love it love ittttt. It was raining heavily that day and we all bought a 50 baht poncho HAHAHA we were damn colourful... all decked in shades of pink, yellow and blue. Eating phat thai in colourful ponchos under the rain :D (im gonna miss this!) Had foot massage while the rest had their neck/back/shoulder and it was really ticklish! Couldn't stop giggling~

Settled our dinner at a Thai restaurant, ordering their green & red curry, tom yum goong and all. As well as a tiger tower for jingxiang HAHAHA. Then we took a tuktuk to watch.... PING PONG SHOW! HAHAHA. The tuktuk ride to there was really fun! Because the 2 tuktuk drivers knew each other and they kept on racing each other! And wow, the traffic laws there are really different, they have no barricades in between a 2-way road and they can simply just u-turn to the opposite direction as and when they like. It was dangerous but it was really an adventure! Wanna do it all over again! But we felt really scammed after that! My advice to all who goes to BKK, remember to make sure the prices you pay for the tickets are reasonable. After that, we walked the nearby night market for a little while more before retiring for the night at the hotel. Had bubble bath with layting! Hahaha pampering ourselves!!! We three fell asleep while watching the telly!

On the third day, we woke up at about 6 am so as to prepare ourselves and have enough time for the buffet breakfast. Took a MPV cab to The floating market :D It was about a 1.5 to 2 hr car ride. Sit until pi gu pain arhhhhh. But, i love how the 8 of us squeeze on a MPV, feels heartwarming... :) Met up with Jon and his mum over there and they joined us on the sampan/boat ride to the floating market ^^ It was hell crowded but it was really an experience going to the floating market!! We get to view their houses on the river, their way of life and also them cooking food and selling them on the boat! Heheee and wanting bought the elephant pouches there ^^ A bangkok trip is never completed without a journey to the floating market. Then we had an impromptu decision to watch the Bangkok's most exciting show (drum rollssssss)...... COBRA SHOW! Wow, i'm totally amazed at the staff there having the courage and capability to control the pythons and cobras. Jiaying and I were still so scared for the raccoon trapped in a box, we thought it will be eaten by the cobras, but it turns out to be the other way round -.- They show us the poison snakes are able to produce and also took photos of people with the cobras being placed around my friends' neck!! Then we had another long cab ride down to the CHATUCHUK MARKET! Hehe but I don't know why the girls didn't had much things to buy! It was quite disorganized and the various stalls were scattered around. Most of the time we were busy buying food and the coconut ice cream was really D.O.P.E! We also got mexican wrap and some thai specialities ^^ Ironically, the guys bought alot of stuffs!

They took a tuktuk back to Baiyoke while the girls took a cab down to Central World. And omggggg we really had a fright of our lives! The cab driver drove into a shopping mall's carpark which was really dark and he didn't answered us when we asked where are we, instead he just smiled to himself. Only on the 3rd try then he did replied that he drove this way so as to avoid the traffic jam. HAHA JOKE WE REALLY CHUA SAI! Went to naraya and got alot of make up pouches and bags for my girlfriends hahaha i spent 1,800 baht in that shop!!! Topshop and forever21 there were basically of the same price so i didn't got anything there. Settled dinner at manhattan fish market because it was really so much cheaper. Lastly, we caught a movie at the theatre there it costs 160 baht which is about 6 sgd? Caught "Columbiana" and it was really quite nice! After which, the guys had an early night while the girls stayed up in my room ordering room service which were quite cheap. Got Jon to join us at my room and we got ourselves a pint of Heineken each. Did I mentioned beer there were really cheap? It only cost like SGD $1.50 HAHAHA, while it cost like SGD $10 a pint in the bars here?! And then we just practically crapped about stuffs hehe.

On the 4th day, Sunday, we had our last buffet breakfast again and went to Chatuchak Market again. This time round Jon and his mum joined us and we bought more things than the previous day! Things were really cheap and we just kept on bargaining haha! Got ourselves the coconut ice cream once again yumzzzz ^^ Wanting and Layting got themselves the china bag HAHAHA and we placed all our shopping loots in as we walked the entire market! Then we went back to hotel to place our stuffs and had lunch at the hotel's restaurant, PHAT THAI! Left Baiyoke hotel for Platinium Mall and we didnt had much time to shop finish the second mall beside Platinium :( Which was quite a pity :( we were practically chionging all the way in the mall. Did our last minute shopping at Central World and then had a quick rest at Starbucks. Walked back to our hotel from Central World, wanting to go for Thai massage after that but didn't did it in the end. In the end we got ourselves London Dry Gin, finished up our Whiskey and ordered in room service again :D We played drinking games and forced everyone NOT TO SLEEP HAHAHA. Eventually we succumbed to the sleeping monster and headed to sleep at ard 330 am, and woke up later than usual. We missed our check in at the airport by 1 minute. We nearly couldn't flew back to SG! And we basically ran all the way to the boarding gate HAHAHA jitao like drama seriously!

Back to SG now and I must say this trip was really awesome. One of the best so far! Can't wait for grad trip next year with the same group of people. PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN! Attachment starts tmrw. Mixed feelings about it? Kinda scared but yet looking forward to it. The corporate world. I will upload photos of bkk trip if i can and have the time.

Hi,

I'm back to blogging... because I guess I always need a space to write my thoughts out. Besides, I have left this space vacant for far too long, and so I doubt anybody will still bother to visit here. And that made me feel even more assured, as I can write out my thoughts here without anyone criticizing about it. You have no idea how scary the world is out there.

School has been busy. What's new right? School has never been free for one single day. I am in year 3 now, my final year. Senior year. I told myself I will work hard this last semester, but I guess, I am going to screw it up already. Things have taken a twist recently. Things have changed. I'm back to a solitary life. It's affecting me pretty much. I can't seem to find the focus I used to had, can't seem to find the motivation I used to possess anymore. I fear, that I will really screw everything up. And that's gonna be even more demoralizing for me. I never did liked the Year 2010. Because this is the year where everything changes... Maybe everything changed over the months, rather than overnight. I wished I had made things right from the beginning, really. Then at least, things will be different now. Things will be positive now.

Why is it always like this for me? When I don't intend to put in my 100% effort, things will never gonna work out and I ended up hurting people. But when I do finally put in my 100% effort, things still don't work out, and I ended up getting hurt. So what am I supposed to do? This time round, it affects me so much more than ever before. I thought we were. But I know for things to come to this stage, I hold the most responsibility. Guess humans are forever like that, learning things through the hard way, knowing the importance of something after it's gone. But it's all too late to regret. But I still regret. Still regretted not setting things right from the start.

Oh god, haven't been touching this blog since the end of July. And it's already September. Time flies. This holiday has been pretty alright! But I guess this will be one of the suckiest holiday ever, other than the fact that I went to Genting for a break with my friends:) Sometimes, can't help but to wonder if it's me or, is the environment that has changed. Friends... are starting to get distant from me. Family... never changes for the better. Love... been getting complicated. Studies.... is an uncertainty.

Maybe the problem has always been me.

Oh god, really damn lazy to change my blog template. Been wanting to change it since a gazillion years ago. Haven't been blogging in a really long while! School has been really really busy and enriching, and also very fun at the same time:) Projects assignments tests are over, except the project execution for next week! Haha SSM is really scary, but it's amazing how it bonds a team of strangers together somehow. My social network had really expanded a lot, due to SSM. Its an experience of a lifetime, that is for sure.

2H04 had been a really good class, at least there wasn't much backstabber, gossips, weird people in this class, as compared to the rest of the year 2 classes friends often complain to me. And sugarloaf is making me spending money and making me feel sinful for eating all those sweet stuffs! Oh can't wait for the end of the semester really, though exams will be arriving in 1 month though. Yog, F1, ITB... well, guess my schedule gonna be really quite packed from the month of August to October! I'm going off now, will be back to blog whenever I can :)

Oh god, and I'm the assistant headwaiter for the first week, i'm scared things will just screw up:( Yeahhhhhhh can't wait for this semester to end really! Can't wait for ssm to end, in fact. Haha. But the sad thing is, I'm gonna be in a whole new different class again. This is tiring, having to switch classes and making new friends. Right now, I'm quite happy in my new class because everyone is pretty nice and I get along well with them!;) Like Audrey, Jia Ying, Shermaine and all:)

Wouldn't be blogging that often more particularly because 1)I've got no time 2) I'm lazy. Haha. CIAOOOOO!

Finally.. some time to update this really dead blog of mine. Well, sch has been really busyyyyyyy. With ssm and all, it really suck. But it's good that we are all in this together. However, its fortunate I made some friends in my new class already. Finally its the month of May. So many of my beloved friends' birthday:) I miss my friends. Need some ketchup session soon huh. Being an SL for freshies- 1H08 was really fun. Am glad, that they are all bonded now. The weather is really cranky these days. I've already fallen sick, and that, once again suck. So take care of yourselves huh everyone. Gonna have ssm proficiency test 1 next week. GOD, i hope i can really hold the plates................................................................................

Recently, I have actually developed a different outlook on life. I became more pessimistic whenever the issue of "life" is being concerned. And I really wonder why is that so. Its like, too many things had happened within these past few months, making me losing faith, confidence and the ability to think that things are gonna change for the better and all those cliche lines we hear every now and then.

Honestly speaking, I don't want to give up. How could I give up when these past few years, I was already working and giving my all to achieve those goals?

School has started. I'm in year 2, no longer a freshman. I'm a Junior Student now, and this means i'm gonna have more responsibilities than I ever had. Looking at all the subjects I'm gonna take this semester is enough to make me doubt my time management and capability to excel. Especially SSM. I'm so scared of ssm i swear, like its one of my worst nightmares ever. Holidays was short. It ended fast, and furiously. My new classmates were pretty fine, hopefully we will all get along. Things are going haywired. And the annoying weather just makes everything worse.

Sigh. I remembered a friend once told me this. "Don't talk so much. 'Cause in that way you won't say the wrong things". Guess this phrase is finally knocking some sense into me. Don't worry i'm gonna be fine. It's just one of those awful emo nights.

I'm hoping we can make some wishes outta airplanes.

Just some quick updates on my life.

Last thursday was the surprise for Layting @ Marina Barrage:) Followed by dinner at citylink then L4D2 @ Katong! Hahaha then supper at simpang. Jingxiang found a $50 note and treated us all to ice cream:) Yummy andersen's ice cream. Though that day passed very fast, but i really enjoyed it! Yesterday we got updated of the various classes we are gonna be admitted into in year2. Damn, i wasn't in the same class as any of my clique and so far, I don't even know who's in the same class as me. How terrible isn't it? I'm in the different class as my boyfriend too:( I'm kind of afraid of what the future holds for me. I'm afraid of being in a whole new environment again, knowing new people, unsure if they have any hidden agendas, and getting a whole new different kind of workload (SSM). I'm also afraid of losing contact or increasing the chances of everyone drifting apart again. But that's life. Yes, its harsh but true. Ah, just hope that everything's gonna be alright. Gotta be brave.

That day, had fishspa with weijie lol!!!! SO TICKLISHHHH but it really ate up lots of my dead skins^^ Awesome, thanks so much:) Headed back to sch ystd for sa meeting zzzzzzz 10am to discuss recruitment drive. The pan fried pork bun is so delicious! This week is the last week of holidays:( sad. Gotta head back to sch on thurs and fri for orientation since I'm a sl. Must remmeber to upload the mass dance song into my phone. Then followed by Qx's birthday party on sat and hopefully meetup with the usuals on sunday? I WANT AN IPHONEEEEEEEE.

I'm currently listening to Wedding dress in english version nowwwww. Qixiang sent me. But i think i still prefer the korean version so much more please! Today was a day out with weijie. Supposed to make chocolates but it failed terribly:( So yeah, it was a failure. Followed by cineleisure and dinner. Then one of the world's best ice cream:D Home and got the biggest shock of my life:( Still feel so tramautised by it.

I went to the temple to pay respects to my grandparents this morning. Looking back, its amazing how time flies. Feels like yesterday was just the day I headed to the hospital to have a last look at my grandfather. Life's really short. Life, measured in terms of moments that took your breath away, rather than how many breaths you took. I don't want to grow old next time and look back at my life. I don't want to look back in regret for not doing certain things I should and had done. Neither do I want to look back in anger for doing certain things I know I should never had done. With every ending comes a new beginning, with every death comes a new life.

Give me some strength and courage.

My blog is so dead. That was because I was busy working from 10-28march at taka's baby fair, followed by SL training camp from 29-31march. It was a hectic month i must say. Work was interesting though I kind of dread it. Reason why it keeps me going is probably due to my friends and kids. SL camp was alright. Day 1 was horrible, had to play dirty games and i swear it was very dirty. Ended up soaking my clothes for 3days. And I gotta learn TP mass dance by heart so i can teach the freshies! Class chalet was funfunfun hahah 3d2n, probably because my clique stayed on for 2nights. Then I met up with besties on thursday!!! Damn i miss them so muchhhhhhh plz! Not to mention the usuals:( All of them are so busy cause its their Alevels' year and that suck because it means lesser gatherings:( Finally had pasta, been craving that for ages! The other day, met up with howe, yiqi, chap & bas! Went to "The Hangout". Played WII. Supermario and raving rabbits! HAHA, and also guitar hero. Wii just reminds me of shengxiang's house. It was good we catched up:)

Lately, I can't stop listening to those songs I used to love few years back! And i wonder why is that so.... Please let my pay come in soon:( OHYES, everyone plz support shengxiang & layting! I had the weirdest dream ever yesterday night. But it was a good dream. I dreamt of me wearing my Peirce uniform in the school canteen, chatting with Chewing Gum. Then I walked away to watch rugby competition (??) Then saw khai, Zak & Edwayne. I was so happy to see them!! Then we catched up on lives and suddenly poof! I woke up. Everything feels like those good old days, those days in Peirce. I saw my box hiding in a corner of my room and just can't help but to take it out and relieve all those good memories. There were class photos, gifts from friends on occasions like Valentines' Day, Graduation Day and so on and so forth. There were also letters I used to write to Howe, Rachel, Chew & etc. How we used to share gossips and secrets hahaha. We were all so silly back then. Still remembered Lynn & I used to write to Chen when she was away in Philippines in p6! I will check my letter box everyday and jump for joy when I received it. And those neoprints??? Damnnnnnn there were really tons of it. Ah those days..... really miss it. Guess everyone does too. Meeting shan later hip hip hooray! Bye all.

Hahaha, sunday was awesome. Met up with poly cliqueeee. Went to Shengxiang & Jingxiang's house to bainian!:) Sx's house was fun with WII. Then they played street fighter using joysticks! Coool, it gives off the arcade feel. Cabbed to jx's house then cab to marina square cause we were running out of time. Wowwww 2cabs in a day. Had yuki yaki buffet for dinner! HAHAHA DAMN DELICIOUS. And the girls were so innovative! We made fried rice with the leftover ingredients we can't finish! As well as spaghetti without the tomato sauce :P Then we had the usual jokes and laughed like crazy! It would be better if weijie and budi came! Chilled at esplanade roof terrace then eventually we decided to go home. Lets meet up sometime next week! We gotta go kite flying and have more L4D2 remember?:) Miss you guys so much man!

Monday was the bombzzzzz. Went to Nata's house for sanbei!! Had dinner with Qx & Km and all at thomson first then had rochor tauhuay which is just like 10m down. Then went to nata's house. Played games and catched up on lives:) Some left while the rest went to thomson bak chor mee for supper, followed by rochor tauhuay AGAIN. It was delicious. Hahaha oth brought Martell. So the entire night we had martell, vodka, beer & redbull. So, Kenni & I didn't drank much cause we gotta take care of the drunkards. But ultimately, kenni drank and became drunk too! Couldn't stop talking lollllllll. Zuok was like crazy too!! Leaving me & Marcus to take care of the drunkards. Was pretty fun actually:) Then we started talking about religions and politics? Cleared up the mess and headed for breakfast. Home and slept till 3pm shiok!

Tuesday night, met with the people again. Hahaha for ice kimo!!! I miss icekimo with them manzzzz. And as usual had the usual jokes and had fun laughing. Followed by tauhuay again can you believe it!!! I ate that 4times within 2days. Madness.

Wednesday was stay-home day. Weijie delievered food to my house:):) The nicest chee chong fun in singapore! Hahaha. Love you (L) Should be looking for a job soon with rachel. Yayyyy. Then gotta meet my polymates for outing and tinghui!! I miss tinghui, havent been seeing her for months though we are both in tp:( Am meeting wj tmrww! Yayyy!!! Hehe. Stomach has been aching since yesterday's night godddddd:( Nights all.

Today, met with khai venice and chengni @ northpoint. Pastamania for dinner and then starbucks. Followed by some soccer at the Macs. Mancity - Chelsea 4-2. Hahaha i swear me, venice & cn damn noisy in pastmania and i bet khai felt embarassed and hungry. Khai just booked out from camp and was carrying his field bag. I swear it weighs a ton! Chengni decided to share the load and help him to carry and every one that pass by her thinks she just booked out from camp! Hehe. Kind of funny. Then finally home. Thanks guys:)

SCHOOL'S OUT

Finally, survived term 4. It was such a hectic term with projects assignments and tests. Wednesday was the last paper - microeconomics. So had lunch with clique and then L4D2 AGAIN HAHAHA @ Kovan. Was super duper fun. Totally love such outings! Thursday, surprised howebaby since it was her birthday. Glad she was surprised and was happy:):) Had ichiban sushi for dinner but the wait was pretty long. Then I took bus to sengkang with Xue, Yiqi & Bas and we did a good deed:) Then guess what? Met Wj TLT & Sx for L4D2 AGAIN AT KATONG. Hahah it was already 10pm and I got home at 4am cause we went for supper at 24hrs hk cafe:/ Friday was nothing much except the extraordinary fact that it was labeled as 100th! Helped Weijie to wash his car HAHAHA fun:):)

So what have I been doing for the past couple of months? Tests presentations projects, not excluding having a hell of a time with my poly cliqueeee:) Surprised birthday for Wanting & Ryan & Weijie (SMASHING CAKES HEHEHEHE), L4D, out for lunch/dinner together after school, so on and so forth. Poly life can never be the same without you guys anymore... Thanks for being so awesome, supportive and annoying. Please please please please please keep in contact still. Love you all:)

So yes, finally had some time to blog:) This week is study break and i have got 2 papers next week to handle. Just two, yes pretty lucky isn't it as compared to my other friends. Can't wait for exams to be over and I can party my ass off HAHA. Alright, really need some catching up with my friends. Guess holidays are always the season for catching up. That's the life of jc kids and poly kids? Hah.

Anyway last thursday was the last day of school boooo :( Miss everyone! Especially my clique. School had been awesome thanks to them. Thanks so much for all the happiness and joy you guys had brought into my life. Wanting, Sihui, Layting, Irah, Wj, Budi, Sx, Chow, Weiming & Jx and the rest of my classmates. Really. Then met wj for movie@vivo - valentines' day. Okay pretty good and i wanna watch percy jackson tooooooooo. Hehe dinner was awesome nice nice.

Saturday headed back to Msia for cny visiting. For the first time in 17years of my life, i had reunion dinner with my mum's parents. It was always with my dad's dad. But things have changed, ever since he left us for another wonderful world. As I ate my dinner, I couldn't help but to think of my grandpa. I know its silly but I just could not help it. K nufffffffffff then telly telly telly. WATCHED FIREWORKS! Hehe for free :D Grandma's neighbours! There were at least 4 families releasing fireworks. The fireworks were literally just above me its way awesome. I love it. They are so brilliant even though they are so short-lived. Here comes sunday. The rest came :D My little cousin IS SO CUTE! Goshhhhh she can even sing twinkle twinkle little stars shes only 1.5 years old. So yes had fun catching up with my aunts, uncles & cousins and etc. Steamboat for dinner is soooo heartwarming, love it! The rest of the days were awesome awesome and only reached spore this morning. I was really surprised how well my cousins (6-10 yrs old) actually take care of my little cousin. Kids nowadays grow up really fast. They are all taller, bigger, smarter & naughtier HAHA. Cny is the only season where we gather together, miss my uncle and family who are staying in LA though:(

Wow the last time I blogged was nearly 2 weeks ago. So just a quick one and I have to start on work. School has been so busy lately that I've been neglecting this space. Today, I kind of got my mind off studies and other stressful things by playing lan with my poly clique. Wj & Sx both drove so we headed to Serangoon to play L4D! Haha, believe it or not, this is my first time entering a LAN shop. Then I had to head back to school for some forum, i'm such a spoiler :/ But nevertheless, at least I got to relax. Wowwww. 2 more weeks to the end of Year 1, 2 more weeks with my classmates. Its my bunch of friends that kept school going for these 9 months. Without them, I think school is gonna suck big time. BIG TIME. This is sad, I'm gonna miss you all so much:( One of the best thing that ever happened to me in year1 was that I met someone I never thought I will:)

Headed to Marissa's birthday chalet. Her mum's a great cook and am glad she was surprised. Fruzen yoghurt @ white sands was (Y), was worth the money too! Wanting and I got stranded at pasir ris because we missed many last buses when we thought we didn't. Nice one and we started cursing. So anyway, we sort of have a heart-to-heart talk while waiting^^ Haha, then we did something bold. We hacked into a condo, we just walked in like that and nobody stopped us? Then we bought food from the vending machine inside the condo. So crazy right? Haha, it was quite fun actually:/ Then we just walked ard the condo. And her bro sent us home, thanks so much.

Projects and assignments are due this coming week. So much things to prepare :( This suckkkkk. I don't like school anymore like how I used to do. I miss my secondary school times, i miss my friends.

After all this time, I finally realised which of my friends actually understand me more than I thought. Despite the fact that we have drifted apart in the recent years, you still seem to know my personality, still seem to know my character, still seem to know my words and actions more than anyone does. And this really amazed me. Even though sometimes you can be annoying, frustrating, threatening and pissing me off. Haha. But i guess that’s who you are. I don't like anyone to worry about me, maybe that is the reason why I have a tendency to pretend everything's alright even though it might hurt sometimes. Still, you always seem to know everything, when I never mention a word about it... You don't even mind sacrificing your time? Thanks so much for making me realise this before it's all too late. Thanks so much for being my friend and everything you have done. I know all these words will never fully express my gratitude for you. I hope I'll never lose you as a friend.

Just about 10 minutes ago, I blogged. But there is this sudden urge to blog again. Its 2010 already. Looking back at 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, those times comes back to me, like a replaying memory. And yes, I have to admit. Thinking about some of the memories brought a smile to my face. But there are also certain memories that just pains and aches me so much that I really wish I can forget. I'm torn between the beauty of those memories and the pain of remembering them. Looking back, I realised how naive and childish I used to be. It was the environment that shaped us this way. I think it was 2007 when I started to grow up. At the same time, I wished I had done something to make it all better. I would love to delete all those memories with just a click. We made mistakes, felt ashamed (still) and started to regret. Those mistakes are just like scars that can never go away. As if it was carved on your skin, imprinted in your brain. And no matter what.... we became different. I became different. And that makes me disappointed in myself.

So I haven't been blogging for a few days now. Sch has been sucking up all my energy. Countdown @ raffles place with my usuals again. Awesome! Hehe, fireworks. Never fail to brighten up the night sky.... and my day too. I'm still very mesmerized by the fireworks. They are so brilliant. Stayed over at eechen's house. The guys bet again and then the girls cooked! It wasn't exactly cooking.... more of like utilizing the oven. Haha, so we had nuggets, seaweed chicken, campbell soup and mushrooms for supper. Made with love from us of course. Saturday.... Met up with SAM! We had lunch together, sat outside taka and started catching up on our lives. Great:) Meetup soon k. Monday, no school, but went to sx's house for OB project. Am still not done with it yet:( Crap, french lect + tut and world issues lect + tut are resuming next week. WHICH MEANS I HAVE TO GO HOME LATE AGAIN?! Sigh. I'm gonna reach home at like earliest 730pm and latest 9pm. Thinking about this just makes me feel kinda depressed. School sucks. Thank god i have a bunch of friends who made it so much better. So I will talk about wed, thurs and fri on another day. For now i'm tired. This weekend is gonna get busy for me.

So tomorrow's the last day of 2009. Wowwwww. Just one year ago I was still slacking and having fun, without having to care a thing about studies or whatsoever. But I guess this year just differs so so so so much. Resolutions for the upcoming year? 1) Sleep more (2) Do not eat unnecessarily/Eat lesser (3) Spend lesser (!!!!) (4) Save more (5) Be more hardworking (plz) I hope I wouldn't procrastinate anymore and rather, get started on all these resolutions. 2009 was a great year because of certain stuffs but yet at the same time, 2009 was a bad year because of other things too. Can't wait for 2009 to end. Please let 2010 be a smashingly awesome year. After tomorrow's night, its a brand new start for us.

Finally some time to blog. Had a stayover with FVUK (cn's idea heh) over at her house. Hmmm watched 2 movies and can never forget the gay scenes of "Blades of Glory"? Had macs and instant noodles in the middle of the night. We forgot about our jellies!!!! Hahaha, had fun catching up and talking nonsense as always..

Sunday was a big torture. I was terribly sick and I had to finish up BCS excel? Excel was killing me bit by bit. Horrible I say. Glad its all over now and we shall all move on to... Dreamweaver? Jesus. Monday, fell asleep during OB lect, it was so boring! The lecturer was like so so so so boring, skipped econs' lect to finish up geog and am crashing econs tmrw. Tuesday, today, sch ended early because Ms Lenny didn't came for class! So finished up tutorial work, off for lunch and satisfied Wanting's sudden craving. Sorry about your loss my dear :( Please cheer up though I know its not easy :(

I want to share a story Yiqi once told me about which I find it fantastic. Here I go:

One day, a professor asked his students this, "Why do we SHOUT instead of speak when we are ANGRY?"
All students thought for a while. Then one said, "Because we lost our cool. That's why we SHOUT"
The professor asked again, "But the person is just right next to you, why can't we talk softly but have to SHOUT?"
Everyone gave their opinions but none was accepted by the professor.
Lastly explained by the professor, "When we are ANGRY, our hearts drift apart. To mask the distance we felt, we instinctively SHOUT instead of speak so the other party can hear us."
"But as we SHOUT, we get ANGRIER. And we felt we drift apart further. So we SHOUT even louder...."
"It is the opposite when we are in love. Not only do we shout, we even whisper into each other ears. Why?"

Off to peiqin's house with my clique. I miss you girls so so so damn much. I'm glad we met up. Played Mahjong and played the car game on her playstation3. Absolutely fun. Took hundreds over photos with Pq's amazing camera! Ordered pizza hut delivery for dinner, yummy!! Ate dinner twice cause my mum cooked. Was so so so bloated plz!

Wednesday
Met up with the usuals! Lynn had dance while Chen was overseas :( Not all came. Jeremy and I decided to skip 3 trains from outram park. Off to safra near vivo for some bowling with the rest. Played 2 rounds, as usual i was the lousiest! Peiqin came for dinner, had a hard time deciding japanese, italian, brazilian, german or chinese cuisine! I want german cuisine with e&z. eventually decided on japanese cuisine hahaha had fun lah:) Nice catching up on each other lives.

Thursday
Out. Went to Yanseng's house first with Xinkai to have Christmas dinner? Lol. Frankly speaking, i'm always crashing people's own family christmas party. Because my family doesn't celebrate.. Last yr was eechen's, this year, yan's. Anyway Yanseng whipped up the dinner for us! There were beehoon, curry, fried chicken wings etc, ham, prawns and etc etc lah! Not bad, he has a standard. I think guys who can cook are awesome. Because i can't cook for god's sake.

Friday
Went Lynn's house! Played mahjong with the usual people. Haha i only won twice?! Pathetic plz. I suck at mahjong, they are all so pro!!! Haha and crapped. Down to Chomp chomp for dinner!!! Nice nice. Even though i have a super bad sore throat and cough and a slight fever in the morning, i still do not give a shit bout it. We order stingray (Y), cockles (Y), oyster omelettle, hokkien mee, kangkong, mussels, chicken wings(Y) and of course the sugar cane drinks. Crapped caught up on lives and the usual stuffs. Ate ice cream, lynn and I shared a tub!!! HAHA and talked about some stuffs...... See you all on 31st:) i love you all thanks so much

Sigh and i really really have got no slightest idea what to do anymore. Its like, we all can't have the best of both worlds isn't it... Can we just say what we both really wants from each other? For me, i just want........ How great, i find myself listening to all the old cheesy songs and as much as i don't want to confess, i'm actually enjoying them right now.

So thursday headed down to gym with Wanting & Layting (the Tings LOL). Went for kick boxing first. WAS FUN hahaha, the instructor was so funny, sang the songs that were played on the radio. I want to go for more classes!!!:) Then we hit the gym for some work out. And finally, a swim in the pool. Eventually we headed down to town at 5plus hahaha. Then to Haji Lane for some shopping! Wanting did her manicure while me and layting sat there and wait. She freaked out at the sight of the cats! Haha and the little girl was kinda funny. She left first so Layting & I waited for the guys for sheesha. Okay, i think sheesha was alright? Hmmmm. Since shengxiang drove, we went to Henderson Waves. This time round, without climbing 70 over steps. It was still pretty crowded at 12am plus???? Haha then lotsa stuffs happened! Then off to Changi Beach Park! The place that is near to the runway for planes???? I love watching planes:) Layting likes it too! hehe. Then eventually, changi village for nasi lemak. Home at 330am, thanks shengxiang (driver) & weijie (navigator) :)

Was soooo tired that i slept through the noon today. And i recieved eechen's christmas card today! Thank you babe. Hope you're having lots of fun in disneyland & universal studios now! Saturday was a great day. Out with besties first to get eechen's winter clothings for her trip to The States! Hahha then met up with Chew, Darren & Edwayne for dinner. Had dinner at the Rabbit restaurant, nice ^^ yummmmy. First time Ed eats at a Chinese restaurant i guess! Eventually Ed, Darren & I went for ice cream! Caught New Moon yesterday. It was a bad bad bad bad bad movie honestly speaking. There wasn't any climax! It was the most boring book out of the series as well. I want to catch The Lovely Bones! Its adapted from a novel.

Today is another day out with Yiqi. Headed off to town and 313 shopping mall @ somerset is awesome (Y) hahaha lotsa great shops in there and f21 was 4storeys!!!!! Amazing and bumped into layting & shengxiang! Hehe and had a yummy dinner. Walked around and headed home. Did lots of catching up today:) And 26 more days to go! Yay.

There's a wake at my house void deck, guess someone just passed away... My condolences to their family. All of a sudden, i just thought of my grandpa. Its been about 2mths since he passed away. Chinese New Year is coming too, I suddenly realised we are not going to pay respects to him next year (and for the rest of my life) anymore for CNY.... Guess this year was the last time. I felt so regretful. Why didn't I visited him that often when he was still alive and well? Sigh. I hope he's happy in the other world with my grandma.

So the other weekend (which was very long ago...), i worked at Baby Hyper's Store again. This time round it was just me, Yan & Xk, along with 2 other girls whom me and Xinkai eventually made friends with:) There were new brands and new models of the strollers. However, everything that I had learnt 1 year ago eventually came back to me. The taja (or toja?) stroller was super cool because it could be converted into a bicycle and a stroller. It was priced at $3,788. There is also a gold plated McClaren stroller worth $18,000. Amazing. Hahaha. Had fun working, had fun rushing through every meal because there was lots of customers, had fun buying the canned coke from the vending machine. Canned Coke tastes really nice when you buy it from a vending machine. Believe me.

Yesterday was Yiqi's birthday so Xueqin, Basthian & I surprised her! Hehehe guess she didn't expected me to come because she thought i haven't had my holidays. It was a mad rush because we have got no idea what time will her council actually ends. Plan A & B cancelled, we went on to Plan C- bas' house. Surprised her at the pool's side. Then headed up to Bas' house! Yes, had cake, nata de coco dessert, mashed potato and soup (which they both made)! Watched Cartoon Network, hahahah. TOM & JERRY!!! One of the nicest cartoon show on Earth!! Basthian decided to be the chef of the day (Y) So they went out to get ingredients and Qixiang soon came. Helped out a little (i helped to peel off the cabbage!!!) and the rest was all up to Basthian and his assistant - Yiqi. Had Japanese Curry with corn, potato and cabbage and rice! Eh it was delicious!!!! Even though it was the curry was instant, but it still tasted good (Y) because it still required some skill!! Hahaha.

Then we watched telly, SEA games, the swimming competition. Yiqi, Xueqin and I were so excited and scared when we were watching the 4 x 100m relay (Male) because it was so competitve!!! But Singapore won in the end hehehe. We looked like we were watching World Cup, seriously. Speaking of World Cup, I can't wait for it. It is an event i always look forward to! I love how it was liked yesterday... As if we were all grown up and this is a gathering for us to catch up on each other's lives:) And yes, yiqi, i hope you love the Adidas watch we got you!

Friday, headed out to meet hy and the rest first to search for Coke's present. Eventually after much consideration and walking around, we settled for the Fossil Watch all of us agreed it was nice and suits Coke. I love stuffs from Fossil. Firstly its because they have got really beautiful stuffs ranging from bags to wallets to watches. Secondly, its because they are made from geninue leather which makes it durable. Back to orchard's MRT at 630pm and then went off to have our dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. The pizza was pretty good! The ambience was good tooooo. Everyone sang birthday song, nice nice. After much crapping, laughing, catching up and eating, went down to Thomson for ice kimo! Ice Cube is moving :( So i guess we are only left with one alternative, which is to go for Ice Kimo all the time in future. Hahah "surprised" Coke with the cake and yes, everything felt like those good o' times??? Home, and I found someone to go supper with in the middle of the night alrdy!!!!

Can't wait for Christmas where we will all celebrate! The season of joy, the season of giving;) I want to get skates, been saying that for 1.5 long years:( And Khai is serving NS in about 2 months' time, gotta miss you so much! Must meet up for supper/dinner/or whatever during the weekends when you book out. Congratulations to Mr Dennis Goh on getting married in... few hours' time!!! Borders @ wheelock is having a 20% storewide sales hooray!!! I WANT TO GO AND GET MY BOOKS HAHAHAHHA. Need some reading therapy this holiday. There are so many things i want to get but........... need some cash:(

Yes yes!!! Holidays are here! Okay so what even if its a 2weeks break or what people says, project week? Its still holidays right!!! Finally some time to settle down and chill and catch up on my sleep and of course.. meeting with friends i haven't been seeing for gazillion years. Things have been acting up strangely again for me, i definitely need some reading therapy this coming holiday. AND WHATS UP WITH JAPAN?!?!?! Omgoshhhhhhhhhhhhhzzzzzzzzzzzz. Wenjie just board the plane for a holiday to Japan, Jianyu left few days ago and then Jeremy just told me he's leaving for japan in a couple of days soon too! Wowwwww and Eechen's leaving for The States soon, and for the first time in 7years, we are not celebrating christmas together!!! Sad, but all of you, do enjoy yourself kay. I want to go on a holiday too!!! Remember our 2years' plan from now ah ^^

I was on my way to school today and the bus passed by St Andrews college. Got reminded of the days when we (us) headed there to give our support to the rugby boys & my friends. It was that field where they had their victory. It was nice seeing them giving their all for the game. 2010 is coming, how time flies. It will be great if the time just stops at 2009 but all of us know thats impossible. Gonna be busy for tmrw, fri and sat. Probably the following week as well. And then Budiman won an iPOD TOUCH!!!!! Just because he spent more than $3 at the school's canteen! So lucky!!!! Jealous. Shall go for chats on msn with my friends now. Goodnight!

It was raining heavily before I left the school, but as I walked back home from the bus stop, the rain had stopped. Hyperactive kids were playing soccer at the soccer court, or playing "hide-and-seek" at the playground. Having so much fun, as if it did not rained earlier on. It brought back alot of my childhood memories. As cliche as this may sound, but i love this place. I love my neighbourhood.

I'm back!!! Got lots of stuffs to blog about hahah, my weekend had been a tiring and blasting week.

Wednesday:

Headed to Ehub to catch 2012 with my poly friends right after school. 11 of us, thank god Weijie and Shengxiang drove thats why it was able to contain all of us! Shengxiang drove his teal green mercs to school. 2012 is an awesome movie (Y). The last time I ever watched an awesome movie that talks about the "end of the world/earth" was the 1998's film; Armageddon. Armageddon is one of my favourite classic movie, love it

Thursday:

Rain. As usual. It rains every thursday, nothing surprising about that. Managed to survive world issues and french quiz!!! Hooray hahaha

Friday:

Happy 17th! Yes, school as usual, comm skills test and bcs proj submission. Only got to sleep at 4am and woke up at 6am to complete everything. Was a walking zombie, literally. Headed to Expo for food fest with my polymates! For our geog travel project:) There were many awesome food hahaha. And and and and, they surprised me. Honestly i didn't see that coming, not at all:) Hehhehe cake and song and 17 balloons! Thank you very much:) Love you all. And holding 17balloons in my hand walking around Expo wasn't an easy job because all the kids want it! Hahah but i can't give to them because it was all tangled up, sorry! Home for a quick shower and off to town to meet the usuals. Heheh had Hk cafe at plaza sing, thanks for the dinner! Hahha and then off to cold storage to get supper and breakfast for the stayover ^^ Heheh and there was a movie marathon going on at ps! Cool stuff. Off to jy's house, got a really BIG AND HUGE SURPRISE:) Jianyu honoured his promise, he really lit up his whole living room with candles:) Heheh and lynn and the rest came down! (I really thought they were not coming for my birthday) Hahaha birthday songs and cake, as usual! Was really surprised. And i had to take the candle wax out from the cake only using my mouth!!! Was really tough, nearly got smashed in the face HAHAHA, and then 2nd challenge was that I had to blow out the candles from 5m away and.... i managed to did it! Cool. Anyway, thanks for the handmade card hehe I LOVE IT! You guys are great:):) Wenjie & pq left first and the rest stayover. The usual stuffs, and sang songs. At 3am plus? Luckily jy's house's walls are soundproof? No swimming at his pool cause it was really COLD. Played some game. Super fun. Fortunately Jy had training in the morning so we did not had any alcohol for the game or else sure will hangover the following day! Had soft drinks instead, but still all of us had to drink alot, kept going to the toilet hahah. Maybe next time, christmas:D Some went for a quick nap while me, chen & mike went to prepare pasta!!! Heheh cool, so homely! Nap again at 6am till 9am because Weijian kept waking me up by using funny tactics haha. Pasta for breakfast! Deliciouzzzzzzz! We should get more pasta and also bake some cookies for our next stayover instead of calling our usual MAC delivery!!! I wanna learn how to cook chicken rice already lah hahaa. Sang again, zzzzz and lunch at tp. Home, was exhausted.

Saturday

Got some sleep and off to town to meet Jolene and the rest!:) Yayyy. Had dinner @ Ichiban Sushi. I ate () Nabe () - i only managed to remember the "nabe" :/ ahah, and catched up on each other's lives. Laughed, crapped haha and ice cream @ Ice cube (thomson!):) Our usual favourite hangout, as always. Yanseng came to join us for ice cream! Home and I went to sleep at 1am cause i gotta wake up at like 4am HAHAHAH.

Sunday:

Weijie woke me up at 4.20am as he was on his way to fetch budiman!!! Wow was so tired and then we were late haha but nobody cares anyway! Volunteering for Run for Hope 2009! Hhaha the race started at like 8am, so late eh. Okay but i must say it isn't an easy feat to complete 10km, Khai sure agree with me on this. After that, all of us sat in Shengxiang's car to Parkway Parade. Lunch together and crap here and there and eventually went back home since everyone was damn tired! hhaha, slept from like 2pm - 6pm just now but believe me it isn't enough to compensate for the loss of sleep incurred these past few days cause i'm sleepy now!!!

I think, this is the most awesome birthday ever. The past few years wasn't as great as this year:/ Thank you Jeremy & Alfred for planning my birthday, 100points for that! Thank you Jianyu for honouring your promise! Thank you wenlynn, eechen, weijian, weikian, wenjie, mike, peiqin and nestor for coming hehehe and giving me such an awesome surprise! Thank you, i love the handmade card each of you had helped to design. Its not easy for guys to make cards! Thank you mike for the sunflower!!!! Thank you Weijie for the 17 balloons and everything else!!! Thank you Weiming for the present!! Its amazing. Thank you Wanting, Layting, Sihui & Irah, as well as Jingxiang, Jane and Shengxiang for planning the surprise party hehehe. The most shocking and happy thing wasn't because you guys planned a surprise party for me (this is part of it but the main point is...) but rather, that, although we have only known each other for 7months, but you guys still go the extra mile for me so i will enjoy my birthday. I was really touched, i swear. Thank you Jolene, Coke, QX, Chap, yiqi and shan for the present, i will use it!!!:) (cause coke gonna spy me in sch hehe kidding) Thank you to all my other friends who had wished me, am really glad you all still remember my birthday and even made the effort to wish me:) And Mike, Dan & Darren, hope you guys had enjoyed your own birthday too! And i still have got one more celebration to go with venice, khai & chengni! I will never ever forget what you guys had done for me, even when I'm already 80 years old:) (if i managed to live till this age). Its a sunny day today. Great! Haha, back home from meeting Yanseng & Xinkai! Sorry i woke up late. We had brunch together at prata house and then went off to Amk to get something. Arcade then -daytona (LOL). Xk went work while yan and I headed home together. Was pretty good since all 3 of us catch up on our lives. Xk bought a new orange casing for his blackberry bold. We agreed it looks like some gummy cause it was very orangey! Thanks for today man!:)

School was interesting yesterday hahaha cause we went kite flying and the guys played soccer. Somewhere near Shengxiang's house. NB (not bad), we should hang out like this often hahaha. Oui, i managed to survive 9am - 6pm thursday. Was god damn freaking tired. Anyway, made more new friends in world issues and french tutorials today! Awesome. Geog Travel for Tourism was pretty cool, discussing case studies questions online. Microecons was not as bad as it was last week. Its kind of pissing me off and to make things worse i am ike damn super freaking tired and exhausted and would really want to go to sleep now. Monday blues? Well, not really. Hahah. Am alone at Bishan Library now. Love the peace and quiet. School was alright today but it rained the whole day! Who likes rainy days when you have to head out? I helped a blind man with directions today. It suddenly occured to me. How come there are so many facilities catering to the disabled and wheelchair-bound people (such as handicap toilets, and buses) but why aren't there are much facilites made for the blind? Its kind of weird. Does it mean that the blind doesn't need help? All they can rely on is just their instincts and feel of touch. Not meant to pinpoint this issue to anyone... Just my two cents' worth. Comm skills tmrw, have yet to complete my handouts. Big sigh. Got to run, bye.

So these past 2 days had been studying studying and studying. I know people will ask me, "Study what shit?!" but yeah, i did. The most effective way to make myself distracted is to bury myself in books. Haha. So anyway, headed down to Changi Airport to study with my besties. Was at Gloria Jean's Coffee and i nearly got scammed by the manager! God, that is the kind of service i get at the airport. How irony... It was crowded yesterday, well, its saturday what do you expect? After dinner, went to the viewing hall to watch planes. Coincidentally, lynn's dad was coming back from hk business trip and his flight was due to arrive at 10pm so the three of us went to fetch him. Hahah. I love the airport. It always make me feel at peace. I like to see people hugging and crying when they bade goodbye to someone, i also like to see the joy and excitement people feel whenever someone comes back to them. The weirdest part is that i think i could feel their joy. Airport is probably in the list of my "Top 5 favourite places in Singapore". Reached home @ 1230am, was godamn tired.

Today, met up with the same girls again for mugging session at Thomson Plaza's Starbucks. Starbucks' coffee is still the best(Y) And a big fight occured, infront of me, literally. Everyone was shocked i guess? Lol. Dinner, saw weixiang, still the same old weixiang haha, and went to Bishan Library for some books that i will need for my comm skills 2 peer tutoring. And yes, did i mention that my microecons screwed up my brain?!?! Omg eechen had a tough tired teaching me :( But i still don't get it! I think i'm a dumb ass :( Khai where you i need your help!!!! In short, i had a really simple and awesome weekend. Thanks alot bestfriends!

I can't wait to go backpacking in Australia together with the usuals + Besties. I know its gonna be fun and i will start saving up now! When is the last time i went shopping? :(

Okay so yesterday headed to Natasha's birthday party. Happy 17th Nata :) Hope it was the best birthday you ever had! Met up with Pang and Weixiang @ tp first to get birthday cake. So there was quite a number of people, but last year there was more. Hahah anyway had lots of fun playing the guessing game, i don't know whats the name of that game? Tenghow was acting it all out again haha. Pizza, chips, wedges and many other random stuffs for dinner. Played taboo at 1130pm, and had fun toooooo. Just the game i played during my first world issues tutorial. Whoever lose had to do forfeits. Forfeits like taking twit photo, family photo, act cute photo and funny stuffs hahaha. The video of beyonce's "Halo" was quite hilarious! Then we switched to another game similar to indian poker too but you had to do forfeits. Verrrry funny forfeits. Home with sasha & kahming at 330am, thanks km. School's on tmrw, tmrw is monday! Monday blues are setting in. Gotta download french audio files in a minute. gotta trim my fringe and i can't wait to change my phone!!! Argh. And my birthday's coming soon, in a month's time.

CHANNING TATUM IS SO HOT! HAHAHA
I have to catch 5oodays of summer and My Sister's Keeper. I have read my sister's keeper last year and it was an awesome book, because the ending was so unexpected. Its a good book and i hope its gonna be a good film too. 5oodays of summer is a comedy (my faves hahaha) and i have to watch it! Think i'm gonna watch it online, if the video manage to load. 2010 seems a pretty good movie too, seems exciting and meaningful :) Another movie i'm anticipating is "Dear John". I read the book last year (& i read it twice) and it was simply fantastic. Turns out that a film was made based on this novel. Its gonna be out on 4March 2010. Yeah quite a long wait, about 6months? Go and wiki on the definition of "dear john" haha. Sarcifices, responsibilities, US soldier, duty, reason are all tags in this movies. In any case, i can't wait for this movie. The ending was so heartbreaking and unexpected, a crazy ending you don't see it coming at all. And Channing Tatum is starring in this movie as the main lead hehe. "A Walk to Remember" is still one of my favourite movies based on the novels nicholas sparks wrote. Sometimes i think part of the reason why people (me) enjoys watching such movies is because of their tragic and sad endings. Such movies talks about great love stories. As irony as it may seem, short-lived happiness are the ones that have the greatest potential to last forever. I guess another reason why people (me) enjoys such movies is because its all too good to be true. We believe that all these will not happen in reality or rather in our lives, therefore we seek comfort/solace (or whatever adjective you wanna insert) in all these movies.

Okay i'm back! Realised this is life, can't do anything about it....

BONJOUR!

SO ANYWAY FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL WAS TIRING.
Why??!?!?! Gosh.... my timetable of course! 9 to 6 or 7pm? Haha good luck to me, especially when i live so so so far away from tp.... Anyway, World issues (CDS) is cool!! Hehehe i'm quite looking forward to knowing more about the world. We will be focusing mainly on environment, international conflicts and 3rd world countries i think! I have got 2 CDS this year, which somehow means electives. I'm taking world issues and french too. Okay, talking about french, french is really cool but i had a hard time pronouncing the words! Haha so far we learnt some basic french, i think i really ought to download the audio files. I have a really cute french tutor? haha, her name's Karen! And its not pronounced as "Karen", you know the way you pronounce it in english. Its different. Okay i think she's either a native french or she's from Canada? Haha anyway she's cool and cute. I made some new friends, thanks to my old friends. My new friends are actually friends of my friends. Get it? Hahah.

Well, french lecture was great (Y) We have some french idol competition thingy in nov! Hahah cool shit. Anyway..... we were asked to learn a song? Which is just the chorus part. The song is the video right on top of this entry. Okay it goes like this:

School's gonna start at 4pm today, comm skills 2, boring subject. That explains why i had the time to be here. I had a really busy week. It was tiring but it was okay. Skipped school yesterday and went to mandai columbarium to send my grandfather off on his last journey. Nothing is left of my grandfather except old photographs and memories. He was burned, leaving behind ashes. Even Auntie Kris who worked for them for 19years cried. It was also her last time serving him his favourite breakfast - wholemeal bread with butter and a cup of milo. She had done this for 19years and indeed it has become a routine. Sigh, everything was sad.... Okay gotta have my lunch and collect cookies from eechen. Goodbye

Eventually, he sailed to Singapore and decided to settle down there. Over at Singapore, he met a woman. They both got married and pledged their vows in the eyes of Heaven and Earth, their family and friends. Soon after, she gave birth to a baby boy. The baby boy had many siblings after that, who often ganged up to make their parents angry. However, they also added joy to the family. The woman was a dutiful wife, a fierce mother and a great cook. She opened a restuarant selling chinese food and business was very brisk, thanks to her awesome cooking skills. The man continued being a sailor, bringing home money every now and then. With all the experience gained and all the lesson learnt during his sailing career, he became a knowlegable person. He placed great emphasis on moral values, therefore his children were people who had intergity despite the fact that they might do very well in school.

Eventually the children all grew up and had their own career and family. It was time for them to retire. Just like any family, they were living in bliss and happiness. Three generations living under a rooft. As the saying goes, happiness is short-lived, and it was so true in their case. 18years ago, in 1991, the woman fell sick and passed away. Everyone was devasted, but nobody was more heartbroken than the man. Life still goes on though. He had a healthy lifestyle, exercise was necessary in his life. Fishes were his favourite and he never ever have more than 3 meals a day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were eaten at a proper time. 17years later, 2009, he fell sick too, and had to leave the world to look for his life partner who left him.

He was a generous man, who always offered his help and tries his utmost best.
He was a magnanimous man, who accepted a malay man as his son-in-law. We all know how conservative society was in the past.
He survived World War 1 and World War 2, just because at that time he knew he wanted to live.

Few days ago, when he was in ICU, and had tubes inserted into every part of his body, lying unconscious for 2days and 2nights, he still woke up. He was suffering in silent pain, unable to talk, unable to tell anyone how he is hurting physically and emotionally. On the 3rd day, he woke up. Why? Because he wanted to say his last words, to hold his children and grandchildren's hands, to see them for the one last time. His fighting spirit was something to commend on, something that deserves admiration.

Earlier on, thursday, 15oct09, all of us went to see him for the one last time. I'm so sorry my family can't be there when you breathed your last, i'm really really sorry..... When I saw you lying down there with your eyes closed, not breathing or any tubes inserted in your body, i knew you were gone, gone to look for grandma. You were still fine the other day i went to visit you, still mouthing words, and asking my dad to take care of us. I cried a bucketful of tears. It had been years since i cried for losing someone. The pain was too much to take.

He lived till an age of 94, with 10 children, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. This post is dedicated to you, gong gong. I know you will be happy together with po po in heaven. You are a great husband, an awesome father, a benevolet grandfather and a responsible sailor. I love you, and rest in peace. You will never be forgotten, you will always live in our heart.

Out with besties to HENDERSON WAVES. Haha yes again.... The last time i went there was in january, how long ago. Nevertheless it was still such a beautiful place. I love heading there because its so high that it made feel like I'm so close to the sky. As if i would be able to reach and be close to the sky if its was higher. Okay, imagination....

Bought food from Vivomart, chips drinks puddings tuna and bread before heading to henderson waves. Yeah, eventually settled down. Haha and started our mini picnic! Observed took photos and talked about some private stuffs haha! As usual wenlynn is always giving advices and me and eechen are always in the same boat same predicament though there were some slight differences. And thank you lynn for the gift :) Henderson waves is beautiful, especially at night. Windy, dark and peaceful. And awesome company, what more can i ask for! Back to vivo's rooftop and talked yeah finally home after getting drinks at thomson plaza's 7-11 with eechen.

Anyway i hate sundays. Its boring and it marks the end of a week.

Finally collected my pay for my F1. Weijie drove me and ryan to tiong bahru plaza to collect our pay. Wanting had collected it while sihui was overseas so its just the three of us left. Saw xinkai at house downstairs again while waiting hahaha! Guess its hard not to bump into each other when we live in the same block? So i had dinner with Weijie at chomp chomp. Yup i think we ate quite alot when its just the 2 of us? Yeah talked about lots of stuffs too this guy is damn good at telling jokes and riddles hahaha. Then we went to punggol end, somewhere near punggol jetty. There were people fishing too. And that place is damnnnnnnnnnn familar! I think it was the place i took the boat with my other friends to outward bound singapore at pulau ubin :) The last time i had been there was 2years ago.... Couldn't help but to get reminded of that year? Sec3, which is 2years ago. When we bade goodbye to our groupmates from other schools with crying faces. Hahaha, ah those wonderful memories. Thanks alot Weijie for driving me home, thanks:) (You did a kind deed again today) Thanks for making me laugh!

Yesterday, thursday, went to town to meetup with Stella! Yes, been sucha long time since it was just the two of us spending time together.... Very long ago indeed. Had lunch together, hahaha i'm always having fast food with her? Hahah, watched "The Ugly Truth" at shaw house. Honestly, that show had so much sexual contents but its very funny! And its so true! Always liked comedies! Then we walked around Ion and eventually settled down at Dr Coffee Cafe to chill. Talked about lots of stuffs too, stuffs from sec1, from sec2. Those times. How can i ever forget? Had dinner together at "The Ship Restaurant & Bar". Not bad:) She had Escagot! In total she ate 5snails, yes snails!! LOL. I was browsing through their menu and i found out something. You know whats inside their Irish coffee? Its irish whiskey and cream. How about their Russian coffee? Its Russian vodka and cream. Its damn weird, i mean, isn't this supposed to contain caffeine instead of alcohol?! Haha. Yeah, had a great time today cause its just the two of us. Towards this friend of mine, i'm filled with regrets and mixed feelings, but somehow i know its best to let things remain this way. Hope to see her soon.

On last saturday it was mid autumn festival! Went to tp for lunch with nata, and bought ingredients to bake cookies. Headed to her house and started making the mixture and stuffs. Baked lots of cookies, i love the colourful toppings its so colourful that it makes one happy^^ Hahaha. Talked about lots of random stuffs!:) Listen to her playing the piano and had dinner together with her family. Packed some cookies for yanseng, coke, shan and xinkai. Passed to yan and xinkai. Hahaha, i think this time round the cookies were pretty good? But i think it could be better:) Off to icekimo, met up with coke. Had double scoops, teh tarik flavor wasn't nice. I still prefer teh tarik flavor at island cremery, it tasted soooo much authetic and better. Chatted about lots of things and had many jokes! Back to nata's house again and we played games, then shan came from work! Played with candles, took photos and talked about stuffs. It was fun even though there wasn't any lanterns. But i think playing with candles is great enough for me:) Home at around 1am, shan&coke walked me home thank you verrry berrry much!

Today, went out with Tinghui. Main objective was to find pink tops, a present for my mum and to visit SRI DEWI! Didn't saw much pink accessories or tops:( But lotsa bottoms?! Haha. Went to Coast London, my old workplace located at paragon to look for sri! Bought cold nescafe for her, as always. Hahaha. There were new part-timers. Everything was pretty much the same, the layout i mean. But there's lots of new clothes! But most of them are the same designs before i left, just that they were in different colours! Amazing part is that we still remembered the names of those dresses! HAHAH. Kinda miss those times - except for the part where there were so many badmouthing and backstabbing and the evil manager hmmmmm. Hahaha, but anyway we had some fun catching up, hope to see her next week! Ting and i went to the soup spoon for dinner, gosh we were starvingggg. Headed to Ion orchard! Then home sweet home. Hahaha. Will post photos again!

My mum's birthday is coming soon. Went to hunt for a present today. All these 17years, I never seem to get her a present she really needed. When i was young, i got her some pretty box from precious moments for her to put her stuffs but i didn't saw her using it though she still kept it. I also remembered i got her flowers from the florist shop! And she still kept those birthday cards i made for her when i was young too hehe. I might be sharing the present with my 2 elder sisters but most probably i'm gonna pay more. I'm still contemplating whether to get her the longchamp or Braun Buffel wallet! They have so many beautiful designs, thus its hard to make a choice. Its so pretty i swear till i feel like getting one for myself too but no i have to save it for my mum:) Haha okay guess i will get it next week hehe alright off to sleep goodnight!

Its 3.17am now. Usually during nighttime, especially on late nights like this, i can't help but to think about lots of stuffs. And when i says lots, i mean really alot, practically everything, regardless whether they are minor or major issues. Is this called night emo? HAHAHA. No idea. Guess its during times like this then will feelings and emotions start to overpower someone. Maybe its time for me to do some self reflection.... I think i have Rheumatism eh. Its like whenever the weather gets exceptionally cold (eg tonight), my bones will just experience some weird feelings? I don't know how to explain. Sigh, i'm waiting for second sissy to be back home so late already right tsk!! I found one goal today but i hope that its not at the expense of my friendships in order for this to succeed. F1 IS FINALLY OVER! GOSHHHHH, I HAD A BLASTING F1 WEEKEND:)

Saturday work was boring like crazy because different people were on the same shift as me. Nevertheless, it was alright! Hahah, went out from Gate 3 and found out there were young men giving out free100plus! Those huge 100plus machine was on the back of the guys and i felt so amazed haha, we got one too! It tasted very nice since the weather was so hot. Sunday started work at 12am, so before that i went to meet my work friends in the noon to catch the race and performances! Damn it was crowded!!!! But thank god we got seats, just right infront of the race track eh eh! Means nothing else was blocking our view except for the bars hahahah. Watch the porsche carrera cup asia race. It was GREAT! The winner drove around waving to the audience and we cheered as well(though we don't know who's that?) HAHA, finally it was the drivers' parade! All f1 drivers came out and waved to the crowd and the crowd cheered! I SAW LEWIS HAMILTON AND KIMI RAIKKONEN! Basically all drivers, but my eyes were on these 2 drivers of course hahahah. The sound of the cars were SO LOUD, you will definitely go deaf without a ear plug i swearrrrr. And they were so fast! We watched the race till 9pm then we decided to take food from our workplace. The dinner pack + drink + pudding! Headed to Padang! Damn you know how expensive their food are? $8 for chicken rice and $12 for coke & prata ?!?!! LOL, Night life robbery manzz.

Sat at the grass patch of Padang, watched the 2 super duper big screens, the ongoing race! Halfway through, red bull crashed and everyone was like AHHH (or was it awww?) Haha, then wanting&sihui came to join us! We moved all the way to the front cause the concert stage was in between the 2 big screens. 10pm backstreet boys' concert, we were in the first 4 rows, not bad rightttttt. They were late for 9minutes but it was ALRIGHT as long as they show up! They finally came out singing "Larger than Life". They sung lots of other great songs as well, like "i want it that way", "show me the meaning of being lonely" and of course "inconsolable". Old school old school! They sang those classic old songs, and their new songs(straight into my heart) plus their solo songs! AWESOME. The crowd was so high. I'm not a huge fan of bsb but i listen to their songs often. Trisha and i was like crazy, crazy singing along and dancing(though there were limited spaces) hahaha, damn we sweated like a dog! We practically knew all the lyrics of the songs thus it was verrrrry enjoyable:) Love it when they dance;)

AJ was so sexy, Nick's eyes were so prettttty! Howie D is so funny hahaha and Brian is SO CUTE.

They kept looking at those girls in the front! Its only in this situtation then i wish i was taller! For a moment i think nick looked at me and trisha? But i have no idea if that was our imagination lololol. They ended early like around 11.45pm and the crowd was saying "we want more we want more!!!!" AND THEY REALLY CAME BACK! They were so nice to do this for us! They sang "Shape of My Heart" as the last final song. Finally at the last part they threw their towels and shirts down, i didn't got it, i'm never lucky! Overall, the concert was AWESOMEEEEEEE!

Sweaty me went to work! Haha i was alone i dont know why! Lucky Joel (yes Joel Lee!) came, he was working as the promoter hahaha, so we talked! He also watched bsb's concert, he went for Travis' concert on sat! Argh i missed it! I want to watch travis as well! AHHH:( He said travis was better than Bsb! Haha. Then right right right! I managed to see the last glimpse of the bsb boys! Because my work place was at esplanade carpark (esplanade cafeteria) so they were leaving from there. Goshhhhh i ran to see, they passed by me! Firstly there was a policeman, followed by a family car which the bsb are in, then the 2nd car was the band, followed by a policeman. Haha if it wasn't for the policemen i swear i will stop the cars and take their autographs and give AJ's autograph to Trisha (since she's mad over him) ! Yeah, joel helped me alot, like the machine thingy, thanks! :D

Rest came, and work resumed, though there wasn't much to do. I love the coffee making machine. There were options like mocha, latte, teh tarik, milo and etc! It was so boring so we started snacking, and ate pudding. I had 3 altogether! Played poker cards. Eventually 330am we went up to the humble house restaurant to sleep, the five of us. Mingzhang our shift leader went to watch "Angels and Demons" on his laptop! HAHA we can bring laptops! Slept on the chair, with the aircon. So comfortable hahah, slept till 6am then we headed down to the carpark to prepare breakfast! Very little people still. Finally my shift ended at 8am and headed home to sleep, so tired!

Anyway i had so much fun these 3 days, especially the first and last day. Great working with those people:) They were all so nice, made lots of awesome friends too! F1 race and BSB's concert was the bombzzz, totally enjoyed it, i hope bsb come to singapore again for tour!:) Love them, i'm listening to their songs now, lol! OH AND I FINALLY GOT MY CASIO WATCH! YAYYYYYY I'M SO HAPPY HEHEHE:)

I'm working midnight shift tmr, 12am to 8am!!! Damn i better have enough sleep or else i will be so tired tmrw. I'm gonna watch the race tmr before my work starts with my other friends:) Yay! Hopefully i get to see Lewis Hamilton with his McLaren-Mercedes and Kimi Räikkönen with his Ferrari! hehe.. Travis performing tmrrrrrrrr!!!!! And trisha and I are so happy that we can make it for backstreet boys' performance @ padang tmrw HAHAHA, it will be nice if they sing their classic songs hahaha. Okay okay, got to go and rest! f1 first day

Today is the first day of work @ F1 for me. I'm working at esplanade cafeteria! Had to be there at 9.30am. It wasn't as bad as what i thought initially! Made some really nice new friends, 2 from NYP and the rest from TP- htm! My job was pretty slack though, just need to pass the food and stuffs and when there's nobody we can just talk (we are allowed to!!) Worked with Huixuan since we are in the same shift hahaha!!!! First time working with her. It was really fun, lunch didn't suck as well and we made iced mocha by ourselves hehe. Went to look for zhaomin with huixuan after work since zm is working for the st john's. Haha funny we are so proud of our security passes because its very personalized(with name and photo). We bought earplus and poncho from them. Those cars are really fast i swear, and they are soooo loud omg! Home! And i'm sooooo tired. Gotta reach by 7am tmr sighzzzzz. Hopefully i will get to watch the race on sunday heheheheh :)

Today, Weijie did a kind deed. He fetched Ryan, me, wanting, sihui & Jingxiang from our homes so we can head down together to tiong bahru since he just gotten his license weeks ago! Somemore we all live at different areas so yeah wasn't pretty much on the way i guess? Anyway, it was very hilarious!!! Ryan was seated in the front, and then he was "driving" as he was controlling the steering wheel?!?! Then it was like he was making the car going leftwards and rightwards for a few seconds but i must say he's not bad at turning?? HAHAHA omg it was damn scary since there's 6lives on the car but yet it was fun, like sitting on a roller coaster. We passed by the big field @ sengkang, the place where people go to fly kites. Ah i wanna go for kite flying! With credits to the car's GPS, we finally reached central plaza, collected our F1 shirts, security pass and name tags. Working on friday to sunday, midnight shift on sunday 12am to 8pm idiot it ate into my monday:( Had late lunch at subway(eat fresh), then Weijie drove them home one by one. For me, i had to go bugis to meet PQ for dinner so i was the last on the list haha. ANYWAY THANKS ALOT WEIJIE:)

Waited for pq for 45minutes and finally had dinner at Aijisen ramen, very yummy especially when i'm hungry. Then she bought the famous fried gold mushroom according to her and i must say its nice! SPICY (Y) Walked around, missed 980 and it came 13min later and i spilled out my secrets!! HAHA. It was an enjoyable day with you babe!

I'll be out of singapore tmr again.... Guess it will be good? For fresh air and tranquility. So i can think straight!

Just got back home. Went down to meet yanseng, xinkai and vanille! :D Its been soooo long since i last saw Vanille. Baby hyper's store! She is still as cheerful and cute as ever. Teddy bear! Hehe, had fun disturbing. Too bad the shop closed or else we would had bought ice cream. My watch is not working anymore, i guess its time to get a new watch ;) OH AND MY SISTER BROUGHT FOOD BACK FROM DAN'S HOUSE! I'm gonna go eat hehe bye!

Cabbed down to Bishan with Shan since it was raining heavily on friday. Been like 5 months since i last saw her! Watched The Time Traveler's Wife at Cine with shan, coke and pang:) We still have not watched transformers 2 together!!! Hahah. The movie was pretty good i must say.. rated it 3.5/5 stars:) Of course, as usual, the book is better! I had read the book last year but i still remembered some details about it. Sadly they didn't show the last scene in the book. It was one of the scene that made me cried. I still think they should include that scene in the movie. Haha. Walked around and went to a cafe in ION. Mocha frappe (Y) Chatted and laughed.. lots of catching up though. Waited for lynn in plaza sing so we can head down to eechen's house together! OH ANE WE DID A GOOD THING OKAY. There's this 5years old little boy who was wandering around eechen's condo, and it was already 11pm ++ so we decided to approach him! He said that he was waiting for a friend but the friend had left, or something like that? We felt so worried so we decided to bring him home, and he happened to stay in the same block but different floors as chen. He wasn't afraid of us! He's a very bright kid, judging from the way he talk:) But how could his parents just let him wander around anywhere at anytime? Its far too dangerous and irresponsible.

Counted down to the start of eechen's birthday and the end of wenlynn's birthday! hehehe. Happy birthday besties! Love you two plenty plenty plenty plenty, 7years of best friends and more to come right!!! Sang birthday song for her :D Hehe, we had instant noodles at 4am man, mine's the laksa flavor ^^ Watched telly and i fell asleep i guess aahah, officially slept at 6am, and that two girls slept till 1.30pm! Woke up, slacked and talked about stuffs, then home in the evening since chen had to meet her friends. Oh and jianyu's second home has pots and pans and a working stove! Gonna ask my mum to teach me how to make pasta then :D Hehe.

Selamat Hari Raya to all my muslim friends!! My second sister is bringing food home from dan's house! I remembered i had it last year and i had stomach aches for 2 straight days! BUT IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Especially rendang, yummy! Probably my stomach can't take too much spicy food? Hope that won't happen again this year hahaha! Oh and i have to report by 6.45AM @ CITY HALL MRT NEXT SAT FOR F1!! Crazy eh to reach at 6.45 is insane sigh :( And i just flare up at my dad for no reason, feeling so bad and sorry now :(

Met up with marilyn today. She had her last paper for prelims today! 37more days to her olevels, haha. Just couldn't help but to recall what i was doing around this period last year. Walked around ION Orchard and yeah i think there are quite alot of interesting shops though some were repetitive. Had ice cream at Shudoku streets of Japan over at Heeren. Yummmmy, love ice cream. Bumped into Nata Meiyu Bernice and Darryl!!! Then we chatted and stuffs, coincidental much;) Then had the soup spoon. Tried a new flavor today, pumpkin soup! Its nice i must say. Saw Mrs Yau on the bus and yeah the 3 of us talked! Haha, sent Marilyn to her tuition! Today was a pretty nice day, as we did lots of catching up and talked alot, can't wait to see her again! The time traveler's wife this friday, YAY! Nights everyone!

Blasting weekend

HI EVERYONE, hahah had a blasting weekend. Friday was over at Eechen's house, to get started with Wenlynn's present!! Basically it was fun because it was time spent alone with her and we discovered many things. Dinner with her family! And they ordered KFC for supper after that. Now i know that why you're bound to gain weight at chen's house haha! Sleepover at her house since we couldn't finish it on time. Completed everything at 7am (a sense of accomplishment) and we headed to sleep till 9.30am lololol. Washed up and everything and went to Shenton way for F1's briefing. Hmmm lets hope it will be fun! Met Lynn and then waited for the rest of them to reach. Advanced celebration for eechen & wenlynn's birthday. Eventually our plan to head down to Astons for dinner was cancelled because the queue was super long?!!!! SCARY. So the whole lot of us, 11 people in exact went down to Plaza Sing for Fish&Co since the 2nd storey was big enough to accommodate us! Bumped into Coke! Coincidentally he was just seated right infront of our table hahaha! Speaking of coke, i wonder how is his first day is like to be a relief teacher at Peirce!!! Ate and talked alot about those old times and laughed really alot hahaha. Weijang was so nice that day so surprising. He left early but nevertheless still love you la! Accompanied Wenjie to the cathay for B&J, but it was too crowded so it was a take-away. Then we took a bus down to thomson, and settled for Ice Cube! Really talked alot, can't wait for sleepover @ jianyu's house once again. I want to learn how to cook pasta for them!;) Was deciding which guy was to send the girls home. For me, Weijian didn't came since he was overseas so Weikian & Eechen had to do the honour of sending me home hehehe while Jianyu sent Wenlynn. Thank you!!! Sunday went to lynn's house for chen's present hahaha, you see i'm the middle person huh. Yeah, had dinner there, catched up on some stuffs too. Thank you for the dinner, lurb youzzz! Can't wait to see the end product!

I enjoyed myself that day everyone, really, thanks for coming! To me, all of you are just like my second family. All of you are important to me! They are guys who are very different from my secondary school and poly friends. I'm so thankful i got into 6F(or else i wouldn't know you all) and then we still kept in touch till now, hehe. They are probably people whom i can trust completely and the most. Love you all very berry much! Can't wait for Jianyu to get a driving license so we can go anywhere and everywhere hehe. He has a car but all he needs is a driving license! Can't wait to be 18 too so we can hit the pubs and clubs. Haha PHOTOS UP NEXT!!! Love all of it

YAY NO SUPP PAPER TO TAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No fails for all 6 subjects HAHAHHAHA, damn happy no need to take supp paper so no need to go school for revision lectures so i can enjoy my holidays without having to study again. A sign of relief man! F1 Training tmr then after that dinner with my usuals. Probably something i always look forward to!:) I think i want to change to wordpress or onsugar or maybe tumbler? Blogger sucks. Hahaha oh yeah i have a twitter account now!
